First Lets Study the Basic rules of bonefishing
Remember my friends (1) Bonefishing is about storking not splashing (2) Bonefishing is about being in stealth mode at all times not screaming across the flats hey any mor kalik? lol! (3) Bonefishing is all about learning the proper CPR technique Catch Photo Release. not catch kill and mount on DA wall! (4) Bonefishing is about having fun, not making Ya guide so miserable that he feels that he was out there with you a week instead of a day. (5) For Pete sake and mines, please bend YA barbs down before you leave home, in that way the fly can easily be taken out the mouth and throat of the fish, and my ears (6) listen to your guides, that's why you hire him if he says cast 30 ft 12 o'clock, don't cast 80ft 1 oclock in hopes that the guide will say men that guy could cast, remember we do this every day We are Angler guides, so your 80ft cast at 1 o'clock shows us you don't have control and we are not impress. (7) Remember time is time, not because you came on vacation you feel that your guide must keep you on the flats from morning until night fall and go stork the Bones with a flash light, Once your guide is feeling you, you don't have to tell him to keep you out longer (8) It's Okay to talk on the flats quietly you know? don't be on the flats with Ya mouth shut all day with your nose skin up like you smell some thing stink, talk and then talk some more, ask your guides question, with that said you are not in a convent and your guide is not YA priest (9) Fish and then fish some more, if and when your guide shows you a school or pod of fish, don't say I'm not a school person find me singles and doubles, Please remember your guides is not god who could part the schools and say school be parted in singles and doubles, only God parted the red sea. and last but not least (10)Tip your guide no matter what and I could tell you he will go above and beyond for you because he knows that you appreciates and are thankful. The bell man looks for a tip and takes good care of your bags, no tip the bell men drop and throw your bags and don't care what breaks but that's a other story. And me as your head guide, I have 1 rule HAVE FUN PEOPLE
Second Lets Here A Word From Your Guide
| When was the last time you've been doing some serious fishing even doe you're having fun? Serious fishing don't mean face make up like a 160 miles a hour wind hit your face, and I'm not talking about jumping in a fancy boat with the fancy equipments and meeting the fancy guide with his pants so tight and far up his butt it looks like a pum pum shorts or a G string; I'm talking about hitting the flats and the channel lines and really stalking and chasing the ghost of the shallow waters.Okay I know you love nice stuff so let me ask you this, if a guy takes you fishing in a hewes bay fisher and a other guide wants to take you in a canoe who you think is better? And if a guy charges $400 and a other guide charges $450 who you think is better? If a guy dress in a performance gear and the other guide fish in a short casual pants and shirt who you think is better? If a guy has a web site and the other guides have none who is better? Hey all that stuff is nice, I have them all and love them all but take experience over all that stuff, take brains over beauty. You want a guide out there who is professional, friendly, experience and know what he's doing to give you a heaven on the flats experience to go along with all that stuff. So the next time considering booking a guiding service go with your heart and not your eyes only, Again always look for someone who is a angler and a guide and in that way you know your money will be well spent. Fishing should be fun not misery and hell, you should feel and know at the end of each fishing day that your guide tried their best to get you to the fish and not talk you to death to past time. Let my team and I show you how this is done, for our fishing service speaks loud and clear and for it self. (Tight Lines, Bent rods and screaming reels always) so with that said get rid of all the stress and try us we're the best. Once on the Island always watch out for those guides who wear G string shorts and those once who put so much starch on their cloths if you pass to close by them you start bleeding and don't know what cut YA. Have you ever saw a guide who put so much starch on his cloths that when you think that's him on the poleing rack that's just his dross and shirt standing up there?.(Well LOL) YOU'VE BEEN WARN! ! |
:Third Let's meet your head Guide: Kenny (Eagleeyes) Ok! Ok! and the bird to..jpg)

Even though I grew up on the flats of Long Island and the near by Bahama Islands, it was really the graceful but very powerful bonefish I fell in love with.
Rod and Eagleeyes, Fish caught Shawn Saunders, Fish caught on big gull flats

If it's bones you want you've now come to the right Site. Our flats are hard sanded and firm for wading, so you don't have to bug down to YA throat and when you surface YA dross gone lol!

Lets talk and learn abit about the Great and Mighty Bonefish shall we? We'll we will talk about it anyways: Fly fishing for bonefish is not difficult but a nice challenge, sometimes the trout fisherman finds it complicated because the cast is much further, bonefishing is more like hunting the difference is instead of hunting a white tail deer you're hunting bonefish and instead of a riffle you have a 8-9 weight rod, the deer have the nose to smell you miles away and the bonefish get the ears and sight to see and here you from the time you enter the flats, so that’s why fly fishing for the bonefish is more stoking than splashing. Once the bonefish is located they require and demand a well-place offering like a begging offering, which must be retrieved in an enticing and natural manner, once the offering has been presented and he likes it it now comes to the hook up, well once they find out that they have been hook and out smarted their attempt to escape is awesome. Veterans and newbie’s alike are always astonish by the bullet like speed and their strength. Well if you never experience the stalking, hunting and electrifying pull of a hooked bonefish you still have the best to look forward to in fishing. The Bonefish is a sleek, silvery fish that have the privilege to inhabit some of the most stunning and beautiful waters on earth. They are designed to feed on bottom organisms in extremely shallow water. Crustaceans are their primary food, they eat by crushing their food in their powerful jaws. When they feed in extremely shallow water their tails could be seen above the water's surface. It's like a signal saying come and catch me I'm over here, and if that's not enough they let of a flashing so even the blind man could see. But make no mistake about it, the bonefish has remarkable eyesight and acute hearing so anglers be ware, to those of you who love to stump all over the flats and smashing your bags and coolers in the boat and have the biggest cough in the world! there's a other secret the bonefish process um huh you said it mind-boggling speed, as you may know that's their key to survival.Oh and they are the masters of disguise and blend amazingly well in what ever surrounding they find them selves in, they can go transparent in a fraction of a second, for most of the anglers who don't want to hire a guide are always baffle by their mysterious unseen presence when they stumble and spoke the ba jesus out of a school of fish. Do you know that the bonefish can suddenly transform into reality and while you bend down to see where your fly is at they can quickly dissolve into an illusion? Yes the Bonefish is like the phantom of the flats.
